Cookie and Local Storage Policy

This policy explains the limited information that this website may keep in your browser. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. Current cookie use

The Digify It website application does not currently set any cookies and does not use advertising, cross-site tracking or audience-measurement cookies. No non-essential tracking technology is activated when you load a page.

A cookie is a small text value stored by a website and sent back with later requests. Browser cache files used to load the site's design faster are not cookies and are managed by your browser.

2. Support-chat local storage

After you create or reopen a support ticket, the website may save one strictly functional local-storage entry named digifyitChatTicket. It contains only the ticket reference, the email address used for the ticket and a local expiry timestamp.

This entry lets the widget recognise that a ticket was used on the same device. It is retained for up to 90 days after the ticket's last update, then treated as expired. It may remain physically present until the widget or browser removes it.

Your recovery code is not kept in local storage. It remains in page memory only for the current session, so you must enter it again after a reload or use the code sent in the ticket email.

3. Why consent is not requested

The local-storage entry is used only when requested to provide the support-chat continuity feature and is not used for advertising or analytics. On that basis it is treated as strictly necessary. If Digify It later introduces non-essential cookies or similar tracking, this policy and the consent controls will be updated before those technologies are activated where consent is required.

4. Your controls

You can select “Forget this ticket on this device” in the chat widget, clear this site's stored data in your browser, or block local storage. Blocking it does not prevent general browsing or creating a ticket, but the widget may not remember the ticket after the page closes.

Links from this website may lead to third-party services that apply their own cookie policies. Digify It does not control storage created after you leave this website.
