Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

Digify It supplies tailored digital services under an accepted quote rather than through an online checkout. This policy explains the general approach to cancellations and refunds. The accepted quote may add fair project-specific terms, and mandatory statutory rights always prevail.

1. Before work begins

If a client cancels before work begins, we will return amounts paid except for reasonable, evidenced and non-recoverable costs already incurred at the client's request, such as a domain, licence or third-party booking. We will explain any deduction.

2. After work begins

If a client cancels after work begins, the client must pay a proportionate amount for work properly performed up to the effective cancellation date, together with approved non-cancellable third-party commitments. Any balance beyond those sums will be refunded.

A deposit is not automatically non-refundable. It is applied to completed work and legitimate committed costs, subject to the accepted quote and applicable law.

3. Consumer right to cancel

A consumer entering into a distance or off-premises contract may have a statutory 14-day cancellation right beginning on the day after the contract is made. To exercise it, send an unambiguous statement before the period expires.

If the consumer expressly asks us to start during that period and then cancels, a proportionate amount may be due for the service supplied before cancellation. The right may end after full performance, or for digital content once supply starts, only where the consent and acknowledgement required by applicable law have been obtained.

These rules do not remove statutory rights where services are not supplied with reasonable care and skill, do not match their description, or are otherwise non-conforming.

4. Delays or cancellation by Digify It

If we cannot provide a material part of an agreed service and no reasonable alternative is accepted, we will refund the amount paid for the undelivered part. We may first offer a revised timetable, replacement performance or correction where that is appropriate and does not reduce a mandatory remedy.

5. Corrections and service concerns

Tell us promptly if a deliverable does not match the accepted scope. Where appropriate, we will investigate and may correct, repeat or replace the affected work before a price reduction or refund is considered. This does not delay or restrict a remedy that the law requires immediately.

No refund is normally due merely because preferences change after conforming work has been approved, or for faults caused by client or third-party changes, misuse, unsupported systems, expired subscriptions or missing access outside our control.

6. How to request cancellation or a refund

Email info@digifyit.co.uk with your name, project or invoice reference, the service concerned, the requested cancellation date and a short explanation. Do not include payment-card details. You may also write to DIGIFY IT LTD, Suite 1, 2 Britannia Street, Leicester, England, LE1 3LE.

We will acknowledge the request and may ask for information reasonably needed to identify the contract. Where a refund is due, it will be issued without undue delay and, for a valid consumer withdrawal, no later than 14 days after notice of cancellation. We normally use the original payment method where practical and lawful.

7. Model consumer cancellation notice

You may use the following wording: “To DIGIFY IT LTD: I give notice that I cancel my contract for the following service: [service]. Contract date: [date]. Consumer name and address: [details]. Date: [date].” An email is sufficient; a signature is needed only for a paper notice.

8. Questions and complaints

Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern. Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights or prevents a client from using a court, regulator, card-provider process or other remedy available by law.
